EBS Classic Session 60

The EBS SESSION combos offer great sound at a good price – a bit of the best of both worlds. They are all equipped with features that makes sense to offer quality bass sound for price, smaller gigs, back stage warm up and home and studio recording.

Heritage. The heart, the amp section, of the Session combos are all based on the EBS Classic 450 bass head, scaled down to serve each context the best. The philosophy behind the concept is to create combo amps with all the essential features to any bass player – a great sound, professional tools to shape the tone, and a quality XLR output to make use of the great sound for recording or to front of house in a live situation. They come in three different models, to meet different needs.

The EBS Session 60 features a 10” speaker and a tweeter. It sounds great straight from the box and offers controls for Gain, Bass, Treble and Volume to further dial in the tone. Character and Enhance filters allow further adjustments, making it easy to find your own personal sound. The XLR Output makes it possible to use it live on a larger stage as well as in the studio. With the monitor RCA Input jacks with mix-in filter and stereo headphones out you can practice whenever you want.

New front cloth grille, November 2014 Update. Since November 2014, all Session combos are delivered from the factory with a new front cloth grille. The new front has much better airflow which improve the sound quality and reduce vibrations.

Not just for bass! The Session combos offers a very competitive alternative for Jazz and Acoustic Guitarists and Harmonica players looking for an amp as well. Unintentionally, it seems that especially the EBS Session 60 turn out to be 'absolutely amazing' for Jazz guitar, as well as harmonica - according to customer feedback!
